Dear Friend

"If you are anxious for leadership, we are prepared to declare you our leader, if you need riches, we would collect for you an enormous amount of wealth that will suffice not only for you but even for your descendants; if you are impelled by sexual urge, you may chose ten beautiful damsels out of the whole tribe of Quraish. The Holy Prophet kept silent and did not utter a word." - Ibn Hisham, quoted by Imam Qurtubi at Quran 41:1

- These were the offers that the opponents put before prophet Mohammad, to stop calling people to The True Worship of One God.
- These were the offers that the opponents put before prophet Mohammad, long before his second marriage with the 55+ year old widow.

Criticism Without Any Knowledge

People who scandalize the marriage of prophet Mohammad with Aisha, only knows the standards of material lust. They are ignorant of The Principles and The Etiquette of prophet Mohammad.

- They are ignorant on the mission of the marriage between Prophet Mohammad and Aisha.
- They are ignorant on what her parents said on her marriage occasion.
- They are ignorant on what her neighbours and people said on her marriage occasion.
- ...

- They are ignorant of The Great Personality of Aisha made by prophet Mohammad.

What all they know is -

- Whenever they hear the marriage of a young girl they soon remember the material lust.
- Whenever they hear the marriage of a young girl they soon remember the material world and its benefits.

The Life of prophet Mohammad and Aisha

A very long story in short : -

Aisha said, "I used to see the new moon, then the new moon, then the new moon, i. e. three moons in two months, and fire was not kindled in the house of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)." - Imam Bukhari.

- Their life was not a cosy life.
- Their life was that of poverty.

Aisha said, "We the family of Muhammad (may peace be upon him) used to spend (the whole) month in which we (did not need to) kindle the fire as (we had nothing to cook) ; we had only dates and water (to fill our bellies). " - Imam Bukhari.

- For months, they had only dates and water to satisfy their hunger.

What Aisha said On Prophet Mohammad

A very long story in short : -

One

Aisha said, "The Quran". This was the answer from Aisha when she was asked about the conduct of prophet Mohammad.

- This two-word answer fully encompasses - who he was, by his word.
- This two-word answer fully testifies - who he was, by his action.

Two

Aisha said,  "The Messenger of Allah never struck a servant of his with his hand, nor did he ever hit a woman. He never hit anything with his hand, except for when he was fighting in the cause of Allah" - Imam Ahmed.

Three

Aisha said, "He neither was an evil doer nor did he invited others to it. He was not a wanderer (or something like that) in the market places. He didn't deal evil with an evil, but he pardoned and forgave." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

Four

Aisha said, "He was never given the option between two things except that the most beloved of the two to him was the easiest of them, as long as it did not involve sin. If it did involve sin, then he stayed farther away from sin than any of the people." - Imam Ahmed.

Five

Aisha said, "He would not avenge himself concerning anything that was done to him, except if the limits of Allah were transgressed. Then, in that case he would avenge for the sake of Allah." - Imam Ahmed.

These saying were not mere sayings; it came out of her mouth due to her immense struggle.

"She witnessed life, and she witnessed death." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- For witnessing his life, she struggled hard. It is again, a long story.
- For witnessing his death, she struggled hard. It is again, a long story.

In order for you to understand what and who prophet Mohammad was, you need to checkout what Aisha herself said about him, before you take conclusions from the ignorant people of 21st century.

What Her Contemporaries Said About Her

- Prophet Mohammad made one of the great woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

Mission Accomplished

This is in response to my friend's mail - http://debatebasedonscriptures.blogspot.in/2012/01/mail-18-part-2.html

Dear Friend

Prophet Mohammad is halfway through his mission. He is 54 years old and he is the head of the state of Madina. About 14 years of his prophet-hood is over. Now he is entering the second and the final phase of his prophet-hood.

The Third Marriage

"They dressed her in a wedding dress made from fine red striped cloth from Bahrain and then her mother took her to the newly built house where some women of the Ansar (people of city of Madina) were waiting outside the door. They greeted her with the words, "For good and for happiness, may all be well." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

Above were the response from the people of Madina when prophet Mohammad married the 9 year old Aisha, who was the daughter of his closest friend. It was the people of his city, who were making the arrangements for the marriage.

- The parents of Aisha were well aware of The Great Mission of her marriage to prophet Mohammad.
- The relatives of Aisha were well aware of
The Great Mission of her marriage to prophet Mohammad.
- The people of Aisha, in the city of Madina were well aware of The Great Mission of her marriage to prophet Mohammad.

The Mission behind the Marriage with 9 Year old Aisha

I hope you haven't forgotten the so far a few Principles and Etiquettes of prophet Mohammad. In simple terms -

- It was for The Delegation of The Principles and Etiquettes of prophet Mohammad, for the future generation that he married the 9 year old girl named Aisha.

If there exists a relation under the sky, by which one can clearly measure the personality of another person, it is The Marriage Relation.

Why at 9 ?

- It was not why prophet Mohammad chose a 9 year old girl.
- It was why prophet Mohammad chose Aisha who was at 9.

"Some might have viewed the marriage of Muhammad and A'isha as an exceptional marriage, but then the two partners were exceptional people. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the last of the Prophets and the best of creation; and A'isha was a very intelligent and observant young girl with a very good memory." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- This is why prophet Mohammad chose Aisha who was at 9.

A Great Personality in the Making

A very long story in short : -

"A'isha (may Allah be pleased with her) spent the next nine years of her life with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and
A. She grew into womanhood,
B. She remembered all that she saw and heard with great clarity, for to be the wife of the Prophet was even more than extraordinary.

So much happened around him - the Quran continued to be revealed, verse by verse, and people's hearts were constantly being turned over and transformed, including hers and
C. She was a witness of so much of all that took place." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- With the company of prophet Mohammad, the girl Aisha was growing with great knowledge.

A. She grew into womanhood

A very long story in short : -

"Her marriage to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not change A'isha's playful ways, and her young friends continued to regularly come to visit her in her own room. "I would be playing with my dolls," she once said, with the girls who were my friends, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come in and they would slip out of the house and he would go out after them and bring them back, for he was pleased for my sake to have them there." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- Prophet Mohammed brought-up this girl in a natural way.
- Prophet Mohammad let her to play with her friends.
- ...

"Aishah said, "The Messenger of Allah raced with me and I won the race. This occurred before I gained weight, and afterwards I raced with him again, and he won that race. He said, This (victory) is for that (victory)." - Imam Ibn Kathir at Quran 4:19

- Prophet Mohammed brought-up this girl in a natural way.
- Prophet Mohammad even played with her.
- ...

"It was the practice of the Messenger of Allah to be kind, cheerful, playful with his wives, compassionate, spending on them and laughing with them. The Messenger used to race with Aishah, the Mother of the Faithful, as a means of kindness to her." Imam Ibn Kathir at Quran 4:19

- Prophet Mohammad was kind, cheerful and playful with her.- ...

"A'isha was a spirited young girl who still had a great deal to learn when she married the Prophet (may Allah be pleased with her, and peace be upon him) she was very quick to learn, however, for she had a clear heart, and a quick mind and an accurate memory. She was not afraid to talk back in order to find out the truth or make it known, and whenever she beat someone else in argument, the Prophet would smile and say, She is the daughter of Abu Bakr! " - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- Prophet Mohammad was making one of the great  woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

B. She Remembered all that she saw

A very long story in short : -

"Musa ibn Talha ( a companion of prophet Mohammad) once said, "I have not seen anyone more eloquent than 'A'isha." 'A'isha (may Allah be pleased with her) became so wise that one of her contemporaries used to say that if the knowledge of 'A'isha were placed on one side of the scales that of all other women on the other, 'A'isha 's side would outweigh the other. She used to sit with the other women and pass on the knowledge that she had received from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and long after he had died, and as long as she lived, she was a source of knowledge and wisdom for both women and men. Abu Musa once said, "Whenever a report appeared doubtful to us, the Companions of the Prophet, and we asked 'A'isha about it, we always learned something from her about it."  - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- Prophet Mohammad was making one of the great woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

C. She was a witness

A very long story in short : -

"It is not surprising, therefore, that a great deal of the knowledge that we still have today, about how our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lived and behaved, was first remembered and then taught to others by 'A'isha." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- Prophet Mohammad was making one of the great woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

"During the nine years that A'isha was married to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) she witnessed many of the great events that shaped the destiny of the first Muslim community of Madina al Munawarra" - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- Prophet Mohammad was making one of the great woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

"it was during the course of their marriage that she must have listened to many of the Jews and the Christians an the idol worshipers who came not to listen to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) but to argue with him, in the hope that they could find a plausible excuse to justify their rejection of him. It was through exchange such as these that A'isha learned to distinguish what was true from what was false." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- Prophet Mohammad was making one of the great woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

"As the prophetic guidance continued to be revealed through the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), A'isha's way of life - along with that of all the Muslims - was gradually reshaped and refined:

It was during the course of their marriage -

that drinking alcohol was finally forbidden,
that it was made clear what food was halal (permissible) and what food was haram (forbidden),
that it became necessary for women to wear the hijab (dress code for women) in public and when praying,
that the guidance as to how to fast was revealed,
that paying the Zakat (mandatory charity) became obligatory on all Muslims, and
that all rites of the hajj (the pilgrimage) were purified and clarified." - Imam Ibn Kathir

- Prophet Mohammad was making one of the great woman personality in the history of mankind, who was known for her knowledge.

Dear Friend

"O King, we were a people steeped in ignorance, worshiping idols, eating un-sacrificed carrion, committing abominations and the strong would devour the weak. Thus we were ...

He (prophet Mohammad) called us unto God, that we should testify to His Oneness and worship Him and renounce what we and our fathers had worshiped in the way of stones and idols; and
He
(prophet Mohammad) commanded us -

- To speak truly
- To fulfill our promises
- To respect
   - The ties of kinship and
   - The rights of our neighbors and
- To refrain from crimes and from bloodshed
.

So we worship God alone, setting naught beside Him, counting as forbidden what He hath forbidden and as licit what He hath allowed. ...

For these reasons have our people turned against us and have persecuted us to make us forsake our religion and revert from the worship of God to the worship of idols. That is why we have come to thy country, having chose thee above all others and we have been happy in thy protection and it is our hope, O King, that here, with thee, we shall not suffer wrong" - Muhammad, Life Based on Earliest Sources
by Martin Lings.

Above was the explanation given by one of the companions of prophet Mohammad, when they sought refuge before the Abyssinian (Ethiopian) king.

The Persecution
A very long story in short : -

The above mentioned companions of prophet Mohammad were persecuted only because they Believed in One God. Among them was a 55+ year old woman named Sawda daughter of Zama.

The Migration

A very long story in short :-

The above mentioned companions of prophet Mohammad left their home, property, wealth etc and migrated to Ethiopia, only to protect their belief in One God. Among them was the 55+ year old woman named Sawda daughter of Zama. Her husband had died and she was a widow.

This is the historical point at which prophet Mohammad thought of a second marriage. At this point, prophet Mohammad was 52 year old. His first wife had died when he was 50 year old.

The Second Marriage

"Would you like Allah (One God) to give you great blessing, Sawda ?"  Sawda asked, "And what is that, Khawla?"

She said, "The Messenger of Allah has sent me to you with a proposal of marriage!" Sawda tried to contain herself in spite of her utter astonishment and then replied in a trembling voice, "I would like that! Go to my father and tell him that." - Imam Ibn Kathir.

- This was the response from the 55+ year old widow, when she was asked for marriage to prophet Mohammad.

"The old man shouted, "A noble match."
- Imam Ibn Kathir.

- This was the response from the father of the 55+ year old widow, when he was asked her daughter in marriage, to prophet Mohammad.

"There was great surprise in Mecca that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would choose to marry a widow who was neither young nor beautiful. The Prophet, however, remembered the trials she had undergone when she had immigrated to Abyssinia, leaving her house and property, and crossed the desert and then the sea for an unknown land out of the desire to preserve her religion" -
Imam Ibn Kathir.

-  This was the response of the people who did the persecution, when they saw the marriage with great surprise because prophet Mohammad chose
a widow who was neither young nor beautiful.

If you remember The First Marriage Principle -

Marriage Principle - 1

"A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a losers." - Prophet Mohammad.

Prophet Mohammad chose a 55+ year old widow as his wife only because of her religion: - She was persecuted only for her belief in One God;  she migrated to Ethiopia only to protect her belief in One God.
A very long story in short :-

"The wives of prophet asked him 'Which of us will be the first to follow you (in death) ?'. He said "The one of you who has the longest arms". They took a stick and started to measure their arms. But Sawda was the first one to follow him. She was the one who had the longest arms, because she used to give in charity a great deal". - Sunan-an-Nasa-i-Vol-3-English.

- Here one can see The 5++ Charity Principles in practice by Sawda the wife of prophet Mohammad.
- Neither prophet Mohammad nor his wives were going after the glittering of this world.
- There were all preparing for a life that begins with death.

The point is -

- This marriage of prophet Mohammad honored the status of an aged widow who sacrificed her life in the path of One God and His messenger.
- This marriage of prophet Mohammad set the precedence of favoring firm Belief & Practice in One God and His messengers, at the time of marriage.

MAIL - 19 - Part - 19

I Wrote -

Dear Friend

The Principles of prophet Mohammad was followed by many 100s of Titles of Principles. Before you look into the marriages of prophet Mohammad, you should have at least learned the so far Principles & Etiquettes.

Now comes the most important principle. I.e. The Life Principles.

- What does prophet Mohammad meant by the life of human beings in this world ?
  - Is it for mere enjoyment ?
  - Is it for being unaccountable for good/bad deeds ?
  - ...

Life Principle - 1

The Fact -

"Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children." Quran 57:20

The Remedy -

"Race with one another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord, and Paradise the width whereof is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That is the grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He is pleased with. And Allah is the Owner of great bounty." Quran 57:21

- The life should be utilized to race for the forgiveness from Almighty God; just like you race for the recognition of your manager at your office.

Life Principle - 2

The Fact -

"Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world's life; but Allah has the excellent return with Him." Quran 3:14

- The human race is going after the glittering of this world, that includes women, children, gold, silver, branded cars etc etc.

The Remedy -

Say: "Shall I inform you of things far better than those! For those who have God fearing mind and practice, there are Gardens (Paradise) with their Lord, underneath which rivers flow. Therein (is their) eternal (home) and purified mates. And Allah will be pleased with them. And Allah is All-Seer of the servants.''  Quran 3:15

- For people who have God fearing mind and practice, the better option is to attain reward from the Almighty God by submitting their life according to His commands.

Life Principle - 3

The Fact -

"Verily, we have made that which is on earth an adornment for it, in order that We may test which of them are best in deeds." Quran 18:7

- This life is a test to identify which of the human race are best in deeds.

The Remedy -

"Be in the world as if you are a stranger or a traveler." - Prophet Mohammad.

The companion of prophet Mohammad used to say,

If you survive to the evening, do not expect to be alive till the morning.
If you survive to the morning, do not look forward to the evening.
In a healthy condition, prepare yourself for illness and
While you are alive prepare yourself for death.

- Expect the death at any moment. That means prepare for your death, the next moment.

Life Principle - 4

The Fact -

"O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but an enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.'' Quran 40:39

- This life nothing but an enjoyment; Life after death is the one that is going to remain forever.

The Remedy -

"What have I to to with the world ? In connection with the world, I am just like a rider who sits under the shade of a tree, then goes off and leaves it." - Prophet Mohammad

- The duration of the life of this world is just like the time taken by a rider to rest under a tree.

Life Principle - 5

The Fact -

Verily, you will die, and verily, they (too) will die. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord. Quran 39:30-31

- Death is more certain than that of birth.

The Remedy -

Seize five opportunities before five events;

Your youth before your old age.
Your health before your illness.
Your richness before your poverty.
Your free time before you being occupied and
• Your life before your death. - Prophet Mohammad.

- Always be watchful in doing good deeds at any stage of life.

What you see is only a few samples from the 100s of Life Principles that were envisaged, practiced and put before this mankind, by prophet Mohammad.

Simply speaking, people who scandalize the marriages of prophet Mohammad, are ignorant about The Principles of Life that prophet Mohammad practiced and put forward.

The point is -

- If prophet Mohammad had lived with more than one wife, he did not have any interest in the glitterings of this world.
- If prophet Mohammad had lived with more than one wife, he spent all of his life, 100%, in preparing for a life that begins with death.

Debate on Slavery - Intro - 1

Assalamualikum
May the peace and blessings of Almighty God be upon you.

If you are a human being, then you should know this. You should know this, because it was The Greatest Ever Disaster that this mankind has ever seen, since his inception on Earth.

Being a slave of a fellow human being, was The Greatest Disaster that the mankind  ever faced. The history of slavery dates back to the history of human civilization on this planet. The so called civilized society carry forwarded the slavery and all its subsidiaries till the end of 18th century!

Even though slavery is banned by all countries, the aftermaths and the side effects of the practices of past slavery is still seen today.

With the so far recorded history, nobody had ever tried to liberate this mankind from the dark practices of slavery or at least they couldn't achieve the result. But there is an exception. There is an exception for a man from 6th century who claimed to be The Final Messenger of God. He was Mohammad The Messenger of God.

It was this 6th century Messenger of God, who liberated this mankind from the slavery of human beings. He transformed people from being the slaves of humans to The True Slaves of Almighty God. It is a great deal. Yes, it is a great deal to understand how Mohammad The Messenger of God achieved the superb victory in the history of mankind, in liberating the people from being the slaves of fellow humans.

Yes, again, it is a great deal to understand how Mohammad The Messenger of God transformed people from being the slaves of humans to The True Slaves of Almighty God.

It was not an overnight liberation; it was a well coordinated guideline. Mohammad The Messenger of God had taken several decisive decisions. For a 21st century man, it is very difficult to apprehend those decisive decisions taken by Mohammad The Messenger of God.

- Because he doesn't know what is meant by slavery.
- Because he doesn't know the practices of slavery.
- ...

But when you read this, you will, you will have to or you wouldn't have any other choice.

The aftermaths of the negligence or ignorance of this guideline, is still seen in the very 21st century! The debate will be a little bit lengthy.

All the persons in this historical episode are True and Real. Some of them are even live today!

This is not an imaginary script.

- This is history.
- This is wisdom.
- This is logic.
- This is Justice.
- This is sign.
- This is challenge.

And more. After all,

This is The Message from The Almighty God who created all that exists.

I am presenting this topic for your intellectual study and taught.

Stay tuned!

Regards
Nisam
